Iron Horse Development, LLC is an integral division of the Temple Industries that provides railroad property management services for the BNSF, Columbia Basin Railroad, Central Washington Railroad and the Portland Vancouver Junction Railroad, collectively managing over 360 miles of track right of way throughout Washington State. To strengthen their position in the Real Estate Industry, the Temple Family entered into a joint venture with Almon Commercial Real Estate, a Yakima based firm. Almon Commercial is the premier commercial real estate office in the Yakima Valley, employing 8 commercial real estate specialists, two of whom are dedicated exclusively to managing railroad property and Temple owned properties.
The Railroad Property Management department can assist potential rail customers in a variety of ways including site selection, leasing property, licensing for utilities and private crossings, track agreements and building leases.
